The curtains I make are also all hand
finished and you can choose from a variety of heading options: they can
be pinch pleated (double, triple or goblet pleats), on heading tape –
and here the positioning of the tape adds the options of a ruffled look
or a “flop over” style – or you can have eyelet rings. The addition of
interlining brings luxury and helps with insulation. Blackout lining is
particularly useful for bedroom curtains if you have chosen a pale top
fabric and is ideal in children’s rooms and nurseries.
Pelmets can
look very modern and greatly help with heat retention in a room. They
can be made in the same fabric as the curtains or in a contrast and look
wonderful embellished with trims and borders.
